Hi there crafty friends! Today, I am participating in an Instagram hop to celebrate Simon Says Stamp and their All The Joy release. One of my favorite products from this release was the “Greenery Swag”. I love the layering pieces that you can add on or just have individual pieces to add to a card. My card today showcases this die with pastels, glitter and a frosty look. I hope you like it!

I’m loving this soft color combo!

Step by Step:

  1. Cut a panel of white cardstock to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches. Run it through your die cutting machine using the Filigree Snowflakes embossing folder and set aside.
  2. Die cut 2 white Greenery Swags and 2 Mint colored Swags. Adhere one white and one mint together for dimension.
  3. Cut additional layering elements from Cotton Candy, Cream, and Audrey Blue cardstocks.
  4. Adhere these elements over the mint areas (berries, leaves, flowers, and holly).
  5. Apply liquid glue onto the die cuts around the edges and add Distress Glitter in Clear Rock Candy for a nice frosty look. Let dry.
  6. Add the finished die cuts onto the embossed panel using liquid glue.
  7. Die cut one white and one glitter Rejoice sentiment. Adhere together for dimension and add to your card.
  8. Using the Holiday Wishes Sentiment Strips, add a secondary sentiment below the Rejoice.
  9. For a finishing touch, add a few sequins.
  10. Apply panel to an A2 card base.
You can see that the subtle texture of the snowflake background give some interest!
