Hello crafty friends! Today, I have the luckiest card for you. You can’t really get any luckier than a rainbow card made with 4-leaf clovers! This stamp set is from the new Simon Says Stamp release “Splendor”. You can view all the crafty goodness here if you haven’t already. This release is filled with some gorgeous spring images. I can’t wait for the warmer weather!

This was such a fun card to make! Although it may look complicated, it really wasn’t. I hope you like it!

The layering for these clovers is just beautiful!

Step by Step:

  1. Cut a panel of light blue cardstock to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches.
  2. Using the Concord & 9th Cloudy Double Card Front die, impress the clouds into the blue panel. Trim to 4 by 5 1/4 inches.
  3. Die cut 6 large clovers and 7 small clovers from white cardstock. *I chose to die cut first to ensure I could line everything up easily.
  4. Apply stamps into a stamping platform and stamp all layers for the large and small clovers in rainbow colors.
  5. Adhere clovers in rainbow order and in an arch to the blue panel. I added foam squares behind the large clover for some dimension. I also alternated between where the large and small clovers overlapped.
  6. Trim any clovers that may hang over the panel. Matte the panel with black cardstock.
  7. Die cut the “hi there” sentiment from white cardstock 2 times and gold glitter once. Adhere all layers together for dimension and to the lower left corner of the panel.
  8. Add a sub sentiment using black ink.
  9. For some extra magic, add flat sequins around the rainbow.
  10. The finished panel can be added to a top folding white card base.
This card is sure to bring you luck!
