Hello everyone and thank you for visiting me! Today, we are having a blog party to celebrate Simon Says Stamp (SSS) and Stamptember. This is not a hop so go in any order you like and visit your favorite designers. Everyone has exclusive codes you can add to your order and receive a gift! Awesome, right?! My code is located below:

In addition to my super fun free gift code, I have a card using exclusive SSS products from Stamptember. Lately, I have been having a lot of fun making Halloween cards. This one has a fun split window design.

I love the mix of all the different products! The candy is actually a Holiday “Peppermint” stencil. Stretch those supplies!

Step by Step:

  1. Blend a light orange ink through the larger opening of the Peppermint stencil onto white cardstock.
  2. Add the detail stencil and add white pigment ink and let dry. This will allow the purple to show through more.
  3. Align the detail stencil and blend lavender ink over the white pigment.
  4. Mix transparent gloss and purple glitter to make your own glitter gel. Apply over the detail stencil. Set aside to dry.
  5. Make a side folding A2 white card base scoring at 2 3/4 and 4 1/4 inches. Reenforce folds.
  6. Die cut a circle from the front panel over the second score mark.
  7. Cut a circle from white cardstock using the same circle die. Add the web stencil and blend fog ink. Stamp the sentiment in black ink.
  8. Inlay the circle through the window and adhere using liquid glue.
  9. Adhere the left interior (from side fold to score mark) using liquid glue. This makes a smaller opening for the card but you see the sentiment when the card is opened or closed.
  10. Cut pattern paper to 1 1/2 inches. Ensure to cut out the area for the window. Align and adhere on the left side.
  11. Using the spider stamp from “Spook up some fun”, add spiders to your candy background with black ink.
  12. Add spatters/splatters to the candy panel using Distress ink sprays.
  13. Cut the candy panel to 2 3/4 inches. Cut out the area for the window and align on the right side.
  14. Add a small strip of glitter paper to define areas.
  15. Using circle dies, cut a window frame from orange glitter cardstock (one circle should be the size you used previously and one slightly larger).
  16. Adhere orange frame around the window.
  17. Die cut and adhere the “Spooky Cat”. Add the cat to the card front. I added some google eyes for more cuteness!
Here you can see how the split window works!

I hope you enjoyed the card inspiration for you. Have a great day and an even better Stamptember celebration!
