Thank you for joining me today! I hope that you have had the chance to see all the beautiful inspiration on the Instagram hop for Simon Says Stamp and their Celebrate release. I have quite the colorful card for you today! I absolutely love how this card turned out. It looks like you spent a long time on it but it really doesn’t take very long. But no one needs to know that! Let’s take a look.
Step by Step:
- Trim the Diamond Circles Foil Transfer card down to 4 by 5 1/4 inches.
- Color the areas on the card in rainbow colors with alcohol markers or your favorite medium.
- Cut a panel of black cardstock slightly bigger than the colored panel for a thin black matte.
- Die cut “Just a note 2” from white cardstock 2 times and holographic 1 time. Adhere for dimension.
- Cut the shadow of the sentiment from vellum and swipe black ink across the back to color the vellum. Use a cloth to wipe off any excess ink.
- Adhere the sentiment and shadow together then add it to the middle of the colored panel.
- Add the sub-sentiment by adhering black foam squares to the back.
- For a little sparkle, I used some shimmer and shine confetti.
- Apply the finished panel to a white card base.
