It’s September 1st and that means it is STAMPTEMBER for Simon Says Stamp (SSS)! If this is your first Stamptember, welcome to the party. It is a month long celebration filled to the brim with crafting. If you haven’t seen the SSS exclusive release, you can view it here. But don’t forget, there will be collaborations with other amazing stamp companies ALL MONTH LONG.

I have a few inspirational cards using the exclusive SSS release. I think I have a good variety of occasions covered: Halloween, Christmas, and Birthday. Enjoy!

I love the fun look the sprays and stencil created for this background!

Step by Step:

  1. Cut a panel of Bristol Smooth Cardstock to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches. Bristol Smooth holds up great when using wet mediums.
  2. Apply temporary adhesive like Pixy spray to the web stencil. Apply stencil on top of the white panel.
  3. Spray Distress Ink over the panel using Halloween colors or your favorite colors.
  4. Remove stencil and set panel aside to dry.
  5. Cut and adhere the Spooky Cat Die using Slate, Royal Purple, Black and Orange Peel cardstocks.
  6. Die cut BOO! from white cardstock twice and orange glitter cardstock once. Adhere for dimension.
  7. Trim the web panel to 4 by 5 1/4 inches. Adhere to a side folding Royal Purple card base in landscape orientation.
  8. Stamp the smaller sentiment from “Spook up some fun” stamp set, trim, and adhere to the bottom right corner.
  9. Add the “Boo” letters above the small sentiment and the cat to the left.
  10. Apply stars to the background to make it magical!

Supply List:

This stamp set had so many great sentiments…I couldn’t decide which to use. So, I stamped them all!

Step by Step:

  1. Cut a white cardstock panel to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches.
  2. Adhere the whole Holiday Typewriter stamp set onto the inside of a stamp platform using tape.
  3. Apply a light ink such as Fog by SSS, to all sentiments and stamp the white panel. You can stamp multiple times if needed.
  4. Insert panel into the Holly Jolly Berries embossing folder and run through your die cutting machine.
  5. Trim panel to 4 by 5 1/4 inches.
  6. Color select areas of the embossing folder with alcohol markers or your favorite medium. Add white highlights with a gel pen.
  7. Stamp the Merry Christmas sentiment with black ink and die cut using the coordinating die.
  8. Adhere the sentiment over the same area located on the panel (or where ever you like).
  9. Add the panel to an A2 Lipstick Red top folding card base.
  10. For extra shine, add iridescent confetti to the background.

Supply List:

This card makes me happy just looking at it!

Step by Step:

  1. Cut a panel of white cardstock to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches.
  2. Stamp the Painted Rainbow background onto the panel using rainbow colors.
  3. Insert panel into the Party Candles Embossing folder and run through your die cut machine.
  4. Using the candle die, die cut multiple candles. Add them to the embossing folder and run through your machine to add texture.
  5. Swipe ink (I used the same as my rainbow background) across the candles.
  6. Die cut yellow or gold glitter cardstock flames. Trim any extra and adhere to the colored candles.
  7. Add the finished candles in rainbow order on top of the embossed candled panel.
  8. Trim panel to 4 by 5 1/4 inches.
  9. Cut a black panel of cardstock to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches.
  10. Die cut “Sending Love” from the middle of the black cardstock twice. *No one will know and this saves some cardstock!
  11. Add the rainbow panel to the black cardstock panel.
  12. Adhere the die cut sentiment together for dimension and above the candles.
  13. Trim the smaller sentiment from Birthdays sentiment strips and adhere.
  14. Add the finished panel to a top folding card base.
